With over 18 years of experience in tax consulting, Érica is known for integrating technical expertise, as well as business strategy and technology in her work. She has led major projects in tax consulting, tax planning, tax compliance, and tax controversy, with a strong track record in identifying tax opportunities and monetizing credits of the State Tax on Goods and Services (ICMS). Érica is a recognized authority in high-impact cases involving the exclusion of both ICMS and ICMS-ST (i.e., the ICMS under the tax swap regime) from the calculation base of federal contributions (PIS/COFINS). Recently, she has been strategically involved in initiatives related to Tax Reform, supporting companies in adapting to the new regulations and identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
